First John #2 - John begins his letter with the gospel message. God made it possible for us to truly know Him through Jesus Christ. John’s goal in writing this letter is for fellowship and joy through the gospel.
Following Jesus allows us to have fellowship with God, which is the ultimate blessing. But it also means having relationships with other Christians. A renewed relationship with God leads to a renewed relationship with God’s people. Having good relationships with one another increases our joy.

Jesus the Messiah #7 - Jesus is alive. The tomb is empty. Whether you believe that’s true or not, it requires a response. We see three responses in Matthew 28.
If you believe Jesus is alive, don’t be afraid.
If you don’t believe Jesus is alive, explain why the tomb is empty.
If you do believe that Jesus is alive, share the good news.

Jesus the Messiah #6 - In this sermon, we will think about why Jesus chooses to endure suffering and death.
In this last week of Lent, as we prepare to celebrate Easter, we see that Jesus was willing to endure humiliation and a painful death because of His great love. Jesus loves you. He was willing to die on the cross so that He can have a relationship with you.

Jesus the Messiah #5 - We have strong ideas about power, what it looks like and how to get it. People living in the time of Jesus also had ideas of what power looked like. Jesus does not match up to either of these ideas of power. In this passage, we see an example of Jesus’ power and how it subverts our idea of power.
During the season of Lent, as we prepare to celebrate Easter, we will see how Jesus fulfills God's promises to send a rescuer. This week, we see Jesus' overcoming, true power that leads to freedom.

Jesus the Messiah #4 - In this teaching, Jesus warns us that everyone will face the reality of final judgement and will either be with Jesus or against Jesus. But Jesus doesn’t want us to wait until the last moment to decide. He tells those listening that He cares about what we do with what we have today.
During the season of Lent, as we prepare to celebrate Easter, we will see how Jesus fulfills God’s promises to send a rescuer. This week, we see that Jesus prepares us to live our lives ready for the day we face final judgement.
