Gratitude, ice baths and why there's nothing better than skateboarding | The Adelmo Junior interview

Gratitude, ice baths and why there's nothing better than skateboarding | The Adelmo Junior interview

You know those people that just radiate good vibes and make you think, "damn, this guys know something I don't!" Well, that's Adelmo Junior.

Adelmo's skating has been inspiring me for literally two decades, and after having the opportunity to sit down and do this interview with him, I can now say he's a big inspiration for me as a person too.

We hit many different topics from ice baths, the keys to learning and committing to tricks, why the skate community is so special, and for me the most important thing - why gratitude will make your life better.

Since we recorded this interview I straight up feel like I've started to be more grateful for things, and it feels good! Hopefully I keep it up, and I hope you get as much from the interview as I did.

Mastering Skateboarding with Douwe Macaré: Pro Techniques to Progress FAST

Mastering Skateboarding with Douwe Macaré: Pro Techniques to Progress FAST

Douwe has a real unique style of skating with crazy long lines full of tech tricks and hammers. He’s so consistent and precise with the way he skates and as I learned whilst speaking to him, this didn’t happen by accident.

Douwe has really put in the work to get as good as he is and in this interview he shares a lot of the processes he’s used to go pro and get where he is today. In this interview he goes deep into his different techniques to overcome fear, get consistent, how he approaches tricks and when to walk away to avoid getting injured. He also shares techniques he uses to stay calm skating in competitions, along with what he does off his board to stay fresh and skate as much as he does.

If you’re interested in learning a bunch of techniques to progress fast on your board then get your pen and paper out and you’ll leave with a list of actionable techniques you can start applying to your own skating.

So massive thanks to Douwe for dropping his knowledge and being willing to sit down in the rain to film this haha. Let's get it

Learn tricks having fun, overcome fear & get consistent | The Enrique Lorenzo interview

In this interview Enrique Lorenzo goes deep into his methods around progression, consistency, overcoming fear, and why having fun when you skate is so important. There's a lot of wisdom in this interview and most importantly a bunch of things you can take and start applying to your own skating from day one.

Enrique has been dropping parts for over two decades featuring in videos like Rodney vs Daewon, Rounds One and Two, and skated for the biggest brands at the time like Axion and World Industries.

He's been doing tricks 20 years ago that literally no one else is even doing today and has really been pushing the evolution of skating since the 90s in terms of techness and creativity with so many tricks from every part that would just blow your mind.

Programming Your Skating To Constantly Progress & Feel On Point | TDP Skate Progression Podcast ep1

This episode is all about programming your skating so you're constantly progress and always feeling on point every time you go skate! Programming is something that all professional athletes and professional sports use. It's a pretty simple concept that's essential if you want to maximise your progression and avoid aches and pains. All skaters are doing some kind of programming already, if they're aware of it or not, but by applying the things we talk about in this podcast you'll learn how you can take it to the next level without even changing much about your skating. And don't worry programming won't mean you have to skate less, if you do it right, you should be able to skate more!
