De HP Lovecraft literary podcast, ook wel bekent als HP Podcraft, is een podcast die zoals de naam al deed vermoeden gewijd is aan de Amerikaanse horror schrijver HP Lovecraft.
Het eerste wat mij opviel is hoe hoog de productie waarde van deze podcast is. Er word in elke aflevering een fragment van een Lovecraft verhaal voorgelezen, incl. sfeer muziek, waarna die paragraaf ontleed word door Chris Lackey, Chad Fifer en zo nu en dan door een extra gast zoals bijvoorbeeld S.T. Joshi.
Wat vooral de moeite is om even te beluisteren zijn de 5 readings die ze hebben uitgebracht. Dit zijn complete verhalen die voorgelezen worden, met goeie sfeervolle achtergrond muziek.
Al met al raad ik deze podcast aan, aan iedereen die geïntreseert is in de verhalen van H.P. Lovecraft. Zowel de mensen die al zijn verhalen van voor naar achter kennen, als men die nog nooit door een lovecraft verhaal zijn gekomen.
