When we’re hurting deeply or suffering beyond words, compassion is what we long for!  And God wants to use us to deliver this compassion to those in need.  Today, brother K.P. Yohannan urges us to become like Jesus and share His compassion to the hopeless and hurting all around!

Well Christmas is just a few days away can you believe it?  And don’t you just love this time of the year?  Many of us will be gathering with friends and family, and sharing gifts.  But let’s not lose sight of what it’s really all about. If I was to ask you to think of some examples of hate-filled actions and words you probably don’t have to think long and hard to come up with an answer.  But what if I was to ask you to point out examples of Christ-like compassion?  I think you’d agree that’s in short supply these days, and it’s desperately needed I might add!  Today on the Road to Reality we’ll see how to develop this compassion in our lives.  Here’s K.P. During His earthly ministry, Jesus displayed an amazing heart of compassion- whether it was to one hurting person, or a multitude of needy people.  He truly cared about the lost, and those who are suffering.  Today on the Road to Reality we’ll be encouraged to share that same heart of compassion and concern. We think about ourselves quite a bit throughout the day don’t we?  And it certainly doesn’t help matters as we’re living in a self-centered society where people typically think “Me-first.” What would happen if we placed others before our own self-interests, like Jesus did?  Today on the Road to Reality we take you to John chapter six, which beautifully portrays God’s heart towards the lost, suffering and needy.  Jesus truly cares about others, but do we share His concern?  Here’s Brother K.P. Ask ten different people on the street what it means to be a Christian and you might get ten different answers, as there’s some confusion that exists today in our world.  But if we want to find out what Authentic Christianity is, the best place to turn is the Word of God.  And that’s where we’re headed today on the Road to Reality with K.P.
