Ep-20: Anuroop Wiwaha Sanstha ft. Tanmay Kanitkar on UNSETTLING by Amrita Sukumar

Finding the right match on Anuroop Wiwaha Sanstha

Marriages are made in heaven but they last only when you put in the necessary effort whilst you are on Earth

Episode 20 is a conversation with Tanmay Kanitkar about Anuroop Wiwaha which was first established in 1975 by his grandmother Mrs. Anjali Kanitkar. In the episode, we talk about how the concept of marriage has changed over the years and what they have been doing to keep up with this change. We also address the issues of creating a tailor-made bio for an individual, the conversations that are necessary before stepping into the process of finding a perfect match, and the need for counseling in all these processes. I hope the listeners will get an insight as to how to create a profile and how to navigate through the online world of matrimony.

Tanmay Kanitkar, took over the mantle of Anuroop Wiwaha a few years back and added his own flavor to the traditional way of finding a match. Since he is a millennial himself, he knew what problems the youth faced in today's world and incorporated various programs into Anuroop with the help of his team to ease the process of looking for a potential partner. They help individuals via counseling, guide them through the process of communicating to their parents or their partners and also teach them the value of self-love!
