    067. Yoga For All Bodies with Natalia Tabilo

This week's episode is such a good one! I was lucky to meet Natalia back in 2019 when we spoke on a wellbeing panel together. She's a true inspo and you're going to LOVE her pov on life and all things yoga. Truly the most perfect timing (no I actually didn't plan it lol) divine timing is HERE >> as I just launched the Reclaim Your Worth free ebook: download it here.

Natalia Tabilo is a Yoga Teacher, Yoga Trainer, and the founder of Yoga for All Bodies™. She was born in Chile and now lives in Alameda CA. She lives with fibromyalgia and Chronic Migraine and after feeling left out and unseen in yoga classes, she created Yoga for All Bodies™, an inclusive, accessible, and Trauma-Informed practice based on variations, sensations, and freedom to meet and enjoy your body and mind where you are today. She loves Yoga props and in all her classes variations (not modifications, because everything is a 100% Yoga), are offered using them! She truly believes that you don’t have to be thin, young, flexible, able-bodied, or strong to live and own your yoga practice! That’s why she always says “Your body, Your practice” To fulfill the promise of sharing Yoga for All Bodies™, she is certified in Yoga for All, Accessible Yoga, Restorative, Yin, Somatics, Yoga for Chronic Pain, Older Adults, Trauma-Informed Yoga, and more. Time to do a midyear check in: can you believe that it's June already? We're 1/2 way through 2024 and it's time to:

Do they still align?3) Adapt them if they need adapting and +bonus guest part of the episode: my little nieces Chloe and Sophie Young joined me for a little bit to talk about the week we spent together, their rose and thorn ritual and what self love means to them 3

Ps. my voice was def under the weather in this episode, sorry for sounding so hoarse!! I hope you still enjoy the content of the episode.

    063. Remembering Kristina Calco: A Mother's Story of Love, Loss, and the Tragedy of Suicide

    063. Remembering Kristina Calco: A Mother's Story of Love, Loss, and the Tragedy of Suicide

Hi My loves - this week's episode is a vulnerable and beautiful one. When I was a Freshman in high school at Portage Northern (whilst we lived in Kalamazoo, Michigan), I had a friend, who was in the grade above, she was my double's tennis partner the first year I was on the tennis team and the kindest soul. There was an instant connection and her passing broke so many of our hearts. I felt compelled to tell her story and her Mom was so gracious to give me the time to do so.

"Kristina wrote in a 7th grade journal entry: “The only reason I even bother to tell my sad sob story is that someday the public might know what a teenage girl goes through. So as you know nice guys finish last….well it might as well be nice girls finish last, too”. Tragic as our story is to tell and live each day….I feel that there are things to be learned from Kristina’s story.

–Written in the hopes that no one else might ever have to awaken to a such a blustery snowy morning as we did." By Kristina's Mom: Michelle.

To read more about Kristina's story, here is her Mom: Michelle's blog.
