With so much uncertainty in the world, the Two Gals find themselves looking for solid ground or a safety net. Turning themselves into pretzels to make safety out of something that perhaps wasn’t.

Krista & Katherine think it’s pretty safe to say we all have our stories. Stories we let define us, trigger us, shape us, mold us. Stories that gave us our worldview. Or so we thought! What happens when those stories start to dissolve?

For one of our Gals, it’s meant digging into the roots of her Family Tree. Unearthing her lineage in a way that she wasn’t able to see before! Think about a tree. It grows up and out. Its roots grow down and out. Spreading to create stability, growing unseen and on their own, the roots support us. They give us our core values but can only be sustained if we find them and nurture them.

Do you know your lineage? Do you know who your Grandmother and Great-Grandmother were? Do you know what they were involved in, were they politically active? Do you know if they were like you? Were these stories true? Did they affect your life’s choices?
Sometimes searching means digging for more roots.
