Write Together is a podcast where David, your host, will take you along on his journey to becoming a fulltime writer. Wanting to write screenplays for both TV and the big screen, as well as novels, we have a lot of ground to cover and David will be implementing hints, tips and tricks picked up from a wealth of successful writers in all mediums - and, hopefully, you'll join David on this journey, taking in the information he has gleaned from greats like Syd Field and Stephen King and using it in your own writing. In time, Write Together also hopes to bring on guests; writers that have already made it to tell you and him how they did it. So, let's Write Together.

Episode 4 of Write Together, hosted by Dave, is here. Listen as Dave laments his total failure to finish his screenplay for the BBC comedy screenplay bursary (due, in part, to technical issues with Final Draft). In this episode, David didn't do his work, so he thought he'd have a bit of fun and take you through the heroes journey story circle that Dan Harmon cribbed off Joseph Campbell before David cribbed it off Dan Harmon. Also GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT imminent. Give it a listen because I think this is the best of the three we've done so far.

Another short one as David explains what he has been up to since yesterday. Good news: he's written 3 pages. Bad news: he needs 30 pages, a series bible and a one page biography by Friday. But he isn't panicking. Also, peronsl promise from David, tomorrow's episode will be no shorter than 10 Holy cow.

Welcome to the first edition of the Write Together podcast.
Today's podcast is short and sweet, just giving you some background on who I am and what I hope to achieve with this show. Episode 2 is going to be very meaty indeed as I delve into numerous texts and books as I try to meet a deadline (THIS FRIDAY) for a script submission, so please come along for the ride. I'll be taking every opportunity to pass on any knowledge I come across that I find helpful to you, so you can use it on your own journey.
