Little Cat Coffee and Animal Haven with Shannon Kirkman and Andrew Richter
Coffee and pets. These are arguably two of the most important and influential elements that helped us through the pandemic. This week, Shannon Kirkman from Animal Haven Shelter and Andrew Richter from Gotham Coffee Roasters join us as we discuss animal adoption, expertly roasted coffee, and how your coffee habit can help an animal in need.
From now until January 6, 2022, Little Cat Coffee will donate $10 to Animal Haven for every bag of coffee purchased. You can get your fabulous beans here.
For more information on Animal Haven, please click here.
To see some of the adorable animals currently up for adoption, please check out Animal Haven's Instagram feed.
Did Little Cat Coffee pique your interest in coffee and leave you yearning for more? Check out Gotham Coffee Roasters for some more next level coffee, and be sure to drop by their store front at 23 West 19th St in New York City and say hi.
Care to join the discussion about cat stereotypes? We invite you to read the saga of Jorts the cat (possibly one of the best cat names we've encountered in a while) right here.
Music this week came from the album, Jingle Cats: Meowy Christmas, from Jingle Cats Records, 1993
"Ode to Joy," by Ludwig Von Beethoven
"Waltz of the flowers," by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky
Both performed by...erm..."cats."

7 Coffee Roasters Roaster's Choice
This week, we try a truly cerebral coffee that is the Roaster's Choice blend from 7 Coffee Roasters. What do Hendrix, Cobain, and Stravinsky have in common? Try this coffee, and have a synesthesic moment. And speaking of musicians, what's up with Josef Hayden's head?
Find this week's coffee at Seven Coffee Roasters.
Still trying to wrap your head around the coffee? Well, now you can try and wrap your head around Hayden's two heads.

Diablo by Ladro Roasting
This week, we sample a dark roast offering from Ladro Roasting called Diablo. Diablo seems to come up a lot with coffees. Also, Dan recalls his best Dante's Inferno experience, we all agree the current level of Guinness World Records is lame, and the unfortunate design flaws of the adorable koala.
