This was episode 3 of a 3 part pilot for Indiana Public Radio. The show idea is moving forward, so now I can share these original pilots. I wanted to share these, because getting the opportunity to sit with someone like The Fierce and pick their brain about their experience in the Austin, TX music scene is invaluable for local artists. 
I was able to have conversation with the founders and partners of The Fierce at a live performance in the back of The Common Market in Muncie, IN. They share wisdom from their time breaking into Austin scene, and some real nuggets of goodness on how to build a music scene here in Muncie, IN.

I was able to have conversation with the legendary Vince Herman from Leftover Salmon as he was driving on his way back to Nashville. We talk about his latest Vince Herman Band record, the new High Hawks record, and of course the legendary Jam Grass Pioneers Leftover Salmon. I sat with the Grammy award winning Graham Sharp from The Steep Canyon Rangers on his bus in Brevard, NC before night 4 of a 4 night run at Oskar Blues Brewery. We talked about how they got started, and how to build a music scene.
