Russell County Landfill
If you have driven through Russell County recently, you have probably noticed signs in people’s yards that say “No Landfill -- Moss 3." This week I chat with a group of citizens who are very active on this issue (Amy Branson, Jennifer Chumbley, Ben Price, Tammy Garrett, and Brandi Hurley) to give us some details about what is happening with the proposed landfill in Russell County, what the timeline on this process looks like, what the challenges have been for them, and how citizens can get more involved.
