01 Replenish & Create Your Sanctuary

01 Replenish & Create Your Sanctuary

The Life Atelier Library launched this week, I’m so happy/proud/emotional ( all the feelings in fact) that the lessons can now be delivered via your podcast player, I do my best learning and thinking when I’m out and about walking Rita so I’ve been trying to find a way to bring that experience to my students for a while now!

I wanted to share the first lesson with my community so you can think about your energy and how to manage it, especially as we move into December and our second winter with you know what.

02 Play & Use Your Strengths

02 Play & Use Your Strengths

Coaching lesson 03 in your Replenish work is about bringing more play, more dreaming and deconstructing what you currently think is possible for yourself, there are so many reasons why we forget to spend time on playing and dreaming as adults but they are such vital activities, have a listen to see why and click on the links I mention in the episode to dive deeper!

    📌 Action Step:

Make a dreaming appointment with yourself this week, block of 15 minutes to just think about what you DO want, not what you don’t want, then write down some tangible details about it. That’s it:)

    04 - Curating & Nurturing Confidence

    04 - Curating & Nurturing Confidence

Coaching lesson 01 in the FLOW pillar, once you’ve learnt how to create and protect your energy, it’s time to start developing the confidence to work out what you actually want (which, let’s be honest is more fun than just knowing what you don’t want.)

    In this week’s self-coaching lesson we’re covering:

The idea of Rupture & Repair
How to curate confidence within the natural ebb and flow
Why to collect evidence to build confidence

    📌 Action Step:

Start your confidence folder, make a list of things that boost your confidence and think about how to motivate yourself in alignment with your personality and strengths.

05 - The Christmas Loop (Using The Self-coaching Model)

05 - The Christmas Loop (Using The Self-coaching Model)

I recorded this on December 23rd after realising that just like my coaching clients I’d been sliding into an old pattern, creating overwhelm, to be followed by burn out traditionally, on a fairly regular three month cycle for most of my adult life.

I also watched an amazing training this week by Simone Seol, it’s not free but for $6 if you’re interested in using The Self-coaching Model it’s fascinating and very worth it!

In this week’s episode I cover:

How the loops in your behaviour are keeping you stuck in old and unhelpful behaviour patterns
How to interrupt those patterns using The Self-coaching Model
My own experiences with both repeating old patterns and not diving in to the ‘feeling’ part of the model

    📌 Action Step

Next time you notice yourself reacting in a way that makes you feel stressed, pause, take 2 minutes and write the situation out using The self-coaching model (link to a detailed explanation below.)
