In today's episode, we talk to Blake Tison. Blake and his wife, Rachel, serve on staff at Acacia Church in Baton Rouge. Blake is the student pastor, as well as a laundry list of other responsibilities. We wanted to hear some encouraging words from Blake for this time that we are in, as well as for the many high school and college seniors who have lost the final quarter of their senior year. 8 Scriptures to Know - Exodus 20:13
Over the next few weeks, we will be taking one section of scripture that is controversial, confusing, or just taken completely out of context and shedding some light on it.
This week we will be looking at Exodus 20:13, Thou Shalt Not Kill. We will examine this verse and its effects on our world. We'll see God's intentionality in word choice and why it matters. Finally, we'll look at how we should explain it to those who want to call it, and God's Word in its entirety, into question because of a perceived contradiction.

Luke Hockenjos
This episode, we speak to Luke Hockenjos. Luke is the founder of Give Em Jesus, a ministry that shares The Gospel all around the world and purchases Bibles to give away. Last year they purchased 316 Bibles, and have already purchased 250 this year! The name Give Em Jesus comes from the advice his uncle gave him before he preached his first sermon, "Just give 'em Jesus!". He says that from that moment on he was full time!
