ASK A BISHOP's mission is to create media content to communicate the life of the Church through the lens of the bishops.

We all have questions. As children, questioning was a process of learning and growing. As we get older, it seems that we question for the sake of questioning, and we argue with no real examination of our beliefs and opinions. Have we lost our child-like inquisitiveness? No. But perhaps we are a bit out of practice.

"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good dead: His eyes are closed". - Albert Einstein

Our purpose is to open your eyes to the mysterious, your mind to seek truth, and your heart to desire to understand. Ultimately, to fully enter into the human experience. We all have questions about the Meaning of Life, Suffering, God, and Religion. They will be answered by Catholic Bishops here. For over two thousand years, we have had an unbroken line of Shepherds, starting with the apostle Peter, the first Bishop, to whom Jesus said You are rock, and upon this rock I will build my Church (Matthew 16:18). Through these Shepherds we hold the timeless treasure of the Sacred Tradition and Sacred Scriptures to guide us in truth and love.

We invite everyone to join this dialogue, no matter what your background is.

    The Meaning of Life

Life has different meanings for everyone. It all depends on how one views life. The faithful believe life is a gift from God and everyone is created in His image, Archbishop Aquila said. The faithful are convinced every human heart is made for God. Aquila said one of his favorite sayings that he doesn’t get […]
