Behind The Mic with Bobby Jack

    Episode Notes
This week, I visit with a familiar name to many of our friends in the greater Louisville area: Bobby Jack Murphy! Bobby Jack spent over 15 years hosting morning drive on the city's top-rated country station, WAMZ, and retired a few years ago from Elizabethtown radio. Take a seat as he reflects on his time spent working with legendary Louisville talents such as Coyote Calhoun and Dick Braun, and the household names he was privileged to meet/converse with including Garth and Reba. He also updates us on what's keeping him busy these days in retirement. Enjoy a trip back in time with this silky smooth radio voice that you've probably missed tremendously!

The Immeasurable Impact of Ellie Coursey

    Episode Notes
She has touched the lives of many within and outside of her church, making her more than worthy of a spotlight on this week's episode!! Ellie Coursey, affectionately known by many as "Miss Ellie", has faithfully served Henderson's First Baptist Church as Director of Children's Ministry for just over 25 (twenty five) years! Interestingly enough, however, her career did not begin in ministry. Lend Ellie your ears as she discusses the first ten years of her employment, the inspiration for her career change, and the wide array of programs/initiatives she has coordinated for kiddos and their families. She'll also explain the goals she wishes to achieve prior to retirement, and the reasons she would recommend that we lend our time and talents to our respective churches. Even if you've never been privileged to know Ellie, you'll quickly understand why she has meant so much to so many, as she details her career endeavors over the course of our conversation.
