In 2011, the Chapel Hill Bulldogs were the number one team in the state of Texas. The expectation was for the Bulldogs to get back to the State Championship game after losing in the title game the season prior. But the road back to the state championship proved be difficult. The Bulldogs would have to overcome injuries and the target on their back to try and get to the state championship game. If you love Texas high school football this podcast is for you. This is Cardiac Pack, the story of the 2011 Chapel Hill football season.

The undefeated #1 Chapel Hill Bulldogs must now start district play with a backup quarterback. And Chapel Hill starts the second season...playoffs.

2. Next Man Up
Chapel Hill begins the 2011 season as the #1 team in class 3A and they get two early test. The Bulldogs looks to get revenge on their only regular season loss of 2010 and play the 3-time defending state champions in the Carthage Bulldogs.
Chapel Hill must regroup after an injury to a key player against Carthage. Now it is time for the next man up.

1. Great Expectations
The Chapel Hill Bulldog football team had high expectations for their 2011 season. In 2010, the Bulldogs lost in the state championship game but returned many of the key pieces from that team. Heading into the 2011 season, Chapel Hill was ranked #1 in the state ahead of the team that beat them in the title game. It was championship or bust for the Bulldogs that season and it got off to an unfortunate start.
