    Welcome to the Podcast revisiting Ken Pryce's research 50 years on the book called Endless Pressure

    This book holds valuable history of the West Indian people's lives and wellbeing in the St Paul's community in Bristol that investigates the effects of racism and discrimination in the areas of life styles attitudes beliefs and behavior and how their perceptions of living well with differences have changed over past fifty years


    Ken's research was innovative and groundbreaking using his methods from a grassroots level

    This podcast aims to celebrate acknowledge and recognize African Carribean life stories of now elders in Bristol to make those stories known and reflect on how we can learn from over coming over whelming odds and about living well in old age

    50 years later some of the original participants from ken pryce research are still living in Bristol today
