    Ole Steel Bridge (Lovers Lane)

    Ole Steel Bridge (Lovers Lane)

The most common story that tells everyone that a young couple was spending time underneath the bridge one night and when they were fixing to leave, they got attacked by a dark mysterious person. The couple was stabbed multiple times with the young lady passing away instantly. The young man survived the attack long enough to climb into the back seat of a car traveling on the bridge. He was rushed to the hospital where he later passed away. According to the story, the police spent more than a year looking for any evidence and couldn't. So the police closed the case and it's now marked as unsolved. There has been over 180 different cases of Paranormal Activity on the bridge, but unfortunately the bridge has been tore down and was replaced with new concrete one.

    Wheatland's Plantation

The Wheatland Plantation is an 1820's home. The plantation has witnessed over 70 murders and deaths within its walls, while its grounds were home to battles of both the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. There were an estimated 28 Cherokees that were massacred in the Battle of Boyd's Creek, who are buried in a mass grave behind the home. When you enter the parlor, you can see the bloodstains of a father who was slain by his son, which has drawn the attention of many paranormal investigation teams. The Chandler Family ghosts is said to also linger in the hallways of the beautiful home.

    Baker-Peters House

    Baker-Peters House

Another building with a deep history in the area, is the Baker Peters House is the site of a famous Confederate-Union feud. Dr. Harvey Baker, was the owner of the Baker Peters House at the time, was shot and killed by Union Troops. His son, Abner Baker, who fought for the Confederates at the time of the war was furious upon hearing this and decided to seek revenge for his father when returned home from the war. While doing so, Abner had an altercation with a gentleman named William Hall, who may had ties to his father’s death. Before Abner could be tried for the altercation an angry mob of Union Supporters broke him out of jail and hung him in a tree in downtown Knoxville. Since then, the Baker Peters House has been used for a wide variety of functions, serving as a restaurant, bar and jazz club over the years. Over the years, the house has been many places including a dental practice which is still functional since 1989.

Gwendolyn House & Ghost of Rocking Granny

Gwendolyn House & Ghost of Rocking Granny

We first journey into a tale about a house that is supposedly haunted by a woman in white with an entity that is aggressive towards anyone who steps foot on the property. Rumor has that a black hellhound still roams the property and also in the house can be heard and seen while there. The place is now abandoned and the neighbors has cameras on it.

Granny February who lived near the one of the oldest cemeteries in East Tennessee said to be haunting it. When her husband passed on, some would say she was a generous person trying to be a good person. In fact some of the local teens claimed she done witchcraft all because she would travel through the cemetery just to get a chance to visit her late husband while getting her dairy products. She loved rocking in her favorite rocking chair and when she died, the family put it in the mausoleum where she is buried in so that she can still continue to rock in it in her afterlife. Due to people vandalizing the cemetery, the doors to the mausoleum has been closed off and her rocking chair was removed.
