In this Episode i spoke with Eduardo Fregonesi, Co-founder and CEO @SYNAPCOM a leading full commerce house that was born in Brazil and today has solid presence across Latam. They work with leading industries and brands from all over tge world and support them with logistics the full operational digital commerce operations Eduardo shared his views on why the industry is Going Direct to the Consumer, some of the main trends in commerce, challenges in retaining talent in his organization amid much more. In this Episode I've met with Patryk Pawlikowski founder of Shoplo, an E-commerce platform from Poland who ended up being acquired by SumUp, a fast growing mobile payment company based in London. We spoke about their challenges in becoming a truly global commerce platforms, why having a great product and great customer service is imperative and why SumUp acquired an E-commerce platform.

In 2018 I had the honour to sit down with Horia Velicu, head of the Innovation LAB at BRD in Bucharest.

Horia has a diverse background, always mixing computer science and finance and later in his career this job appeared and he decided to take the challenge further.

BRD is part of the Société General Group which is a French bank that is present in over 65 countries with over 32 million customers.

In Romania, the Bank has over 2 million customers 

Horia shared some of the main initiatives that he is responsible for such as collaboration with universities, fintech, startups, prototyping new potential projects to be deployed at a larger scale;

Frisbo helps Fulfillers to become more efficient by enabling orders to be fulfilled from multiple fulfilment centres spread across the country.

That is quite a disruptive model since several merchants would send their orders to a fixed location.
