The earthquake shook so hard that rocks were split, and graves opened. Jesus died on a Roman cross with a soldier observing who knew death and dying well and said, "This surely was the Son of God." He saw something remarkable in Jesus in the few hours he was on the cross that he had not seen before. And what he saw was a fraction of what was unfolding.
