Brady Fox and I go way back, he was one of the first players I coached when I started coaching. Brady attends Rangitoto College and is currently a member of their premiership team. Brady shares his basketball journey, as well as the other side of the Kieran Bingham podcast, as he played for the team that Kierans team beat in 2019.

Josh Welton is a guest again on the Get Better Basketball Podcast, today sharing more about his own basketball journey. Josh discusses his experience at Henderson High School and all that they achieved during his tenure. Josh shares his thoughts on why he didn’t transfer to a larger school and what it was like winning at a smaller school. Kieran Bingham was apart of the second group of students at Hobsonville Point Secondary School, starting in 2014 with just 2 year groups, Kieran shares his experience being at a brand new school, building the school culture and what sport was like. Kieran graduated in 2019, and was the Head Boy at Hobsonville Point Secondary. Kieran was also the starting Point Guard for the Senior team, which won the Under 19 League 1 North Harbour Championship. Kieran shares his experience of his final season at high school and what it was like to win a championship.

In today’s episode of the podcast, we have Luke Taikoko, a barber at Maloneys Barbershop, sharing his journey with basketball. Starting from when he started hooping, playing through the age groups at the representative level and competing for national titles, as well as his experience with secondary school basketball. Luke attended Kelston Boys, and was apart of the 3rd and 4th place teams during 2006/2007, playing with guys like Houston O’Riley and Ross Mcmains, as well as facing players like Corey Webster, Brook Ruscoe and many other current NBL/Pro level players.
