Also part of the team is Farm and Ranch Reporter Sam Halstengard.

Afternoon Ag News, May 1, 2024: Farmers in the tri-state area make planting progress
Farmers in Minnesota are making some planting progress. According to the latest crop progress report from USDA, corn planting was 30 percent complete, 14 percent of the soybeans are in the ground, and half of the oats and spring wheat crops have been planted.
