I am so excited to share this episode with you guys! I am narrating one of my favorite poems of Amritaji. She is an inspiration and you will hear more about her in this episode.

I think we are the generation that didn't have phones, tablets, laptops while we were growing up. We still have some experience of outdoor games, to have some hobbies, to have some extra-curricular activities. But as the phones and other screen options started to silently take our lives, we are in a big digital swirl. I don't even know how the younger generation might feel, especially during these times when their schools are online too! 
This poem is about switching off - laptops, phones, tablets. Switch off all the screen and take a break once in a while! :)

This pandemic has given a lot of things and one of them is ambulance siren. Something that most of us have noticed while being at home. I remember waking up to that sound sometimes. The times are such that ambulance sound can ruin a person's state of mind and those negative thoughts spring up and pushes us to that dark side. The levels of anxieties, isolation, social distancing have been too hard on us. I have tried to capture that in my poem this time. Please listen to it and all I can say is, "Hang in there! We are in this together!"

This poetry is very close to my heart. It has a message for everyone who is dealing with their mental health issues. If not a prominent message, then at least know that we all are in this together and we all are going through our battles. Our mental health needs special attention in times like these; I hope this poem invokes and strikes some right chords of positivity and you can share it with people who needs to listen to this podcast. I have said it in the podcast and mentioning it here again, if your mental health is getting affecting by anything seek some professional help. There is nothing wrong in it!

During this pandemic, our mental health has been totally down the drain. This poem dwells on how important it is to find something to hold on to while a person is drowning in the sea of negative thoughts! It's my first attempt to put my poem out there for the world to listen, be kind to me please! :)
