Here's a Story Joanna Gerdy

Before we start the first round of "real" episodes, I wanted to share something that's been on my heart.  It's a stormy night where I am, and it feels right to tell a story about finding your way out of the dark. It's so easy to swirl around, disconnected from each other and from ourselves, kind of shrouded in the mist. I hope this story reminds you that it can be just as easy to break through the clouds...and find our Light again. This one is my story. I can't wait to hear yours!

Here's a Story is a place to re-ignite our love of great storytelling...the old ones, the undiscovered ones, and most importantly, OUR stories.  As a theatre director, actor, teacher and playwright, my favorite part of what I do is gathering together with a bunch of people, connecting to who they are as human beings, sharing time and energy, and yes...stories!  

I have fallen a little in love with every person whose stories are woven into my own life story, and more than ever, I want to explore how stories remind us of well, who we are.  

There's magic in you, and I can't wait to meet you!  Expect the first seven episodes, based on seven phases of our lives, written by my favorite storyteller of all time, later this fall.
