In this final episode of the trilogy of podcast interviews with the 3 main people behind Ibiza - The Silent Movie, we finish off with none other than Fatboy Slim. 
Norman Cook has curated a soundscape that hugs the visual of this unique film.

In the interview, we discuss his vast career in the music industry, from a little known band prior to the Housemartins all the way to his current artist name. We also talk about how he became the Musical Director and the process of which he selected and mixed the tracks for the soundtrack. 

I wanted to get these podcasts out prior to the film being aired on BBC4, so that you can all get an insight into the behind the scenes workings of the film. 

It's been an honour to have been involved in this film and I have to give Norman Cook my deepest gratitude for asking me to take part.

Julien is an English film, documentary and music video director.
He began his career with short films featuring the Sex Pistols, and has continued with various off-beat projects, including The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle, Absolute Beginners and a documentary film about Glastonbury, where Ibiza The Silent Movie got its premiere in june. Join us for a look into the early days of Julien's career and how working with David Bowie got things off on the good for him when he was still at film school.

In todays Ibiza Unlocked podcast, Howard Boyle meets the man behind the idea for Ibiza – The Silent Movie - Malcolm Gerrie. 




After 30-plus years in the industry there isn't a genre of programming that Malcolm has not been involved with be it prime time entertainment, scripted, arts, music, kids, documentaries, events, 3D, comedy or digital content.




Famed for his pioneering programming, Malcolm created the now legendary live music entertainment show ‘The Tube’ for Channel 4. 




Music is one of Malcolm’s greatest passions and he also took over producing ‘The Brits’ for eight years and transformed it into one of the biggest global awards ceremonies. So it seemed only fitting for him to bring his brainchild to the bring screen with Ibiza through the years as its focus.  




In this episode Howard gets under the skin of the production that also features original footage which was shot on location around the island, plus previously unseen archive material immersed in music from and inspired by Ibiza and its residents.
