Note from Spike: If you haven't read the 1954 novel "The Bad Seed" by William March (not to be confused with the children's book (!) of the same name), or seen the 1956 movie, also of the same title, consider me grabbing your lapels and shouting: "You NEED to read the book/ see the movie NOW!!!" -

SPIKE'S NOTE: YES, I have made Jon aware that Kool-Aid is still available (even in remote, exotic locations like Nottinghamshire) and is as popular as ever; I have a container of their pink lemonade gathering dust in my pantry even as I type this. I spent a reasonable hour or so doing a deep dive into flavored sugar water lore, but I could find absolutely no evidence that Kool-Aid suffered any dip in popularity due to the tragedy in Guyana. That said, if anyone can find any evidence to the contrary, please let me know. The only reason I can think of that Jon and Joe are unaware of this fact is because they live healthy lives unhindered by junk food products, whereas I have never met a Twinkie I didn't love. -

corruption in the US Family Courts with Dr Bandy Lee
Warning: This video discusses domestic
violence and severe child abuse,
including sexual abuse. Viewer discretion is advised.
Dr Bandy Lee is well-known for The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump, which she edited. She has taught at Yale Schools of Medicine and Public Health, and Yale Law School, and more recently at both Harvard and Columbia. Bandy talks with Jon about her sister's dreadful experience in the Family Court and about the corruption that has become part of the establishment in the Family Courts. Dr Lee has an impeccable reputation, otherwise it would be impossible to believe the allegations she makes. The situation is nothing short of Kafkaesque. We should all do everything we can to protect children from the network of abuse that includes "reunification camps" and police seizure of children.
