Originally published in April 2022… Life is hard, we all know that. But if I’m being true to who I feel God has called me to be then I can’t pretend that I’m full and able to pour into others, because right now, I’m feeling empty. Right now, God is working on me and I need to step back and let Him. Maybe you're feeling that way too. So my encouragement to you today is a reminder that Gods love for you is not conditional, and that if you're pouring from an empty cup, stepping back and stepping into faith is exactly what God wants you to do.

This is my recording from a teaching I did for our Women's Ministry Psalms Bible Study Part 2! This teaching digs into the Psalms that shed insight into how we can patiently wait on the Lord and how waiting patiently, dare I say it, even involves asking God how much longer must we wait. There is a difference between patient waiting and communicating our heartaches with the Lord, and legitimate impatience.

Relationships. They're hard right? But what is so incredible, and not the least bit surprising, is that our God knows that they’re hard, and in His goodness and provision has given us His word to turn to when navigating the complexities of loving others well (because we all have those people who are hard to love). So as we look at the complexities of relationships, let us look at them, as best we can, from a Christ-centered perspective.
