In this nostalgic look into Walmart's history, in this episode I read the company memo's sent out to Walmart employees in April 1972, July 1972 and December 1972.  July 1972 was Walmart's 10 year anniversary.  It is amazing to compare the numbers from back then to the astronomical numbers they make now days.  This podcast is for anyone interested in Walmart history and culture and wants to take a journey back to the "good ole days" of Walmart.

Messages from is dedicated to bring the nostalgia of the old Walmart culture.  Read by Christopher Miles, Grandson of Alton Miles (First Vice President of Special Operations for Walmart) who met Mr. Walton many times and was raised in a heavily inundated Walmart culture.

When my Grandfather passed away, I was left with a lot of Walmart memorabilia and I wanted to shed some light on how Walmart used to operate and treat its customers.  In this podcast I read a couple of different messages that Sam wrote to his employees in 1971.  You can tell that in 49 years, things have changed tremendously.  I do not agree very often with the new setup of Walmart and how it treats customers and employees.
