SocialEndeavor ,

A worthy endeavour but a little bit misleading

There is no denying that the less time we spend on social media the more full and flourishing our lives can be, and so this podcast is laudable in encouraging us to reconsider our social media depdancy. However, there is one important caveat here: the framing of this podcast is a little bit misleading, in the fact that the host didn’t simply find other ways to transition her exisiting business away from social media, instead she actually ended her business and started a new one which was not social media dependant. Practically speaking, this means that she actually left her former business, rather than simply leaving social media and maintaining her business without it. It also means that, as much as they would like to, some people are simply not going to be able to suceed in transitioning their current work from social media without losing all of their clients or abandoning their very business. If you are capable and willing to walk away from your current business in order to cut ties with social media, this podcast is for you - if not, then this isn’t going to be particularly helpful.
