Almighty God most probably sent Covid-19 upon the world as an act of judgment. Is this what the Bible calls "the beginning of sorrows?"
Or is it simply a sole and cyclical natural disaster not unlike any others this fallen world regularly suffers? Ultimately, time will have to provide the final answer.
This teaching posits the position that the Bible teaches irrefutably that God sends plagues and other "natural" disasters upon the earth as acts of judgment for individual and corporate sin.
There is no biblical reason not to believe that God sent Covid-19. On the contrary, the Bible explicitly teaches that God will soon send many cataclysmic and near world-ending plagues and other disasters upon the earth.
These disasters will usher in the end of this sinful age and the beginning of the eternal kingdom of God upon earth.

Today's money-loving and false grace preachers regularly accuse those who suffer with sickness, disease, pain, poverty, and other forms of loss as having weak faith.
Yet, the Bible refutes these accusations as the simplistic reasonings of people who know little of the character of God, or of the redemptive place of suffering in the lives of His saints.
It is possible to have great faith, to walk in the power of God, to heal the sick and cast out demons and flow in the gifts of the Spirit and still suffer tremendously.
What of Jesus? Did He suffer and die young because of ignorance or weak faith?

American Christianity often portrays Jesus in halves. Savior and Lord, or King. Usually, we are given the option of accepting Him as Savior now, and as Lord, or King, when we can get around to it--if ever.
This is a false doctrine!

The church is filled with teachers and preachers who minimize the badness of sin. One of their popular sayings is that sin is just "missing the mark," as in shooting an arrow at a bull's eye and not hitting the target.
This message shows from the Bible that this is a false doctrine. Sin is not simply "missing the mark." It is rebellion against Almighty God, and is worthy of eternal damnation.
