Quinnipiac Journalism Professor's Podcast on Hunger in Hamden Earns International Award
We interview Ben Bogardus, assistant professor of journalism at Quinnipiac University, about Episode 2 of his podcast, Hunger in Hamden, which won an Award of Excellence in the Broadcast Education Association’s Festival of Media Arts competition in the Radio Documentary category. Professor Bogardus plans to produce a second season of this award-winning series in the coming months.

Quinnipiac Podcasts Aim to Connect University to Surrounding Communities
Quinnipiac University has a new podcasting program, run by David DesRoches, who comes to the university after a distinguished career in print and radio journalism. They talk about the power of storytelling, how to use podcasting to connect communities, and they also share some pretty cool podcast ideas.
