Do any of the following phrases sound familiar?

Whatsapp Delays New Privacy Rollout After User Backlash, Confusion.

WhatsApp is delaying a controversial update to its privacy policy following backlash from users over how it would share data with Facebook Inc., FB -2.52% which owns the popular messaging service.

The app said its roughly two billion users would have until May 15 to review and accept the new policy, otherwise it will eventually stop working for them. The change was previously set to kick in on Feb. 8.

“We’ve heard from so many people how much confusion there is around our recent update,” a WhatsApp spokesman said. “There’s been a lot of misinformation causing concern, and we want to help everyone understand our principles and the facts.”

WhatsApp said the new policy isn’t geared to expanding its ability to share data with Facebook but rather to allowing businesses that interact with customers on the app to store those conversations on Facebook servers. The move is a key step in Facebook’s plan to generate revenue with WhatsApp after years of struggling to do so. Businesses will also be able to store user shopping activity on the servers.

User confusion and resistance sowed by the new policy point to the difficulty the service faces in advancing on a profit-generating path. WhatsApp remains a market leader in messaging, but competition among encrypted messaging platforms is intensifying with privacy concerns growing as a major consideration for users.

"A1" Discussion with a Guest on "LIVING RELATIONSHIP" NOW DAYS

Discussion with a Guest on "LIVING RELATIONSHIP" NOW DAYS.

Today, cohabitation is a common pattern among people in the Western world.

In Europe, the Scandinavian countries have been the first to start this leading trend, although many countries have since followed. Mediterranean Europe has traditionally been very conservative, with religion playing a strong role. Until the mid-1990s, cohabitation levels remained low in this region, but have since increased.

In recent decades high rates of participation of women in the workforce, and the widespread availability of highly effective long acting reversible contraceptives has led to women making individual choices over their reproduction with decreased reliance on male partners for financial stability. All these changes favored living arrangement alternatives to marriage.

    Effect on children
In 2001, researchers compared teenage children living in a cohabiting household (a single mother and her boyfriend who was not related to the teenager) against peers in single-parent households. The results showed white and Hispanic teenagers had lower performance in school, greater risk of suspension or expulsion than peers from single-parent households, and the same rate behavioral and emotional problems.

Official Update: Senofi Vaccine Reaction against Covid-19

Official Update: Senofi Vaccine Reaction against Covid-19

Official Update: Senofi Vaccine Reaction against Covid-19.

In December 2020, initial results from a phase 1/2 clinical trial showed an immune response comparable to patients who recovered from COVID-19 in adults aged 18 to 49 years, but a low immune response in older adults, likely due to an insufficient concentration of the antigen. A total of 441 healthy adults participated in the study in the US which evaluated safety, tolerability and immune response.

Sanofi is planning to launch a phase 2b study with an optimized candidate vaccine in February 2021, with support from the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) in the US. The study will include a proposed comparison with an authorized COVID-19 vaccine. If data are positive, a global phase 3 study could start in Q2 2021. If the vaccine meets clinical requirements on safety and efficacy, and once approved by regulatory authorities, a vaccine can expected in the fourth quarter of 2021.
