    J. David Markham / Ukraine

My old friend and colleague J. David Markham joined me today to talk about Russia and Ukraine. We planned to get to other topics, but ran out of time. Although we agree on most things related to Napoleon, David and I disagree on nearly everything else related to geopolitics, so this was a fun episode.

Your not listening to those dickheads again, are you? - My Wife

The latest Cam & Ray production is absorbing, entertaining and challenging. Ray and Cam are taking on current events with their usual deep in the guts approach. If you want the short version of events with the details glossed over then switch on CNN. If you want drill down into the details and question every sourse then these guys are for you. For example their episodes on the Syrain Civil War start with the death of the prophet mohamed, 1379 years before the Arab spring. With a liberal sprinkling of dick jokes, Rays little girl giggle and rock and roll these two have done it again. You can hear the hosts enthusiasm for te subjects and Cam's, almost, desperate plea for the audience to look beyond every headlines. If you like the BS filter reach into your pocket and subscribe to the cold war podcast as well.

Who's your BAGDADDY!

I started losing Trivial Pursuit games over WW2 questions so I listened to the first 200 episodes of Ray's WW2 podcast back to back over two months. While I enjoyed it immensely, passengers in the car would fall asleep due to the monotone of Ray's soothing tone. Getting to the point, you will not fall asleep listening to these guys - I think I'm actually addicted to Cam's voice, and I now can't leave the house without him. Car crashes, strange looks, roadside pauses, tears and laugh out loud moments all result listening to this podcast, much like their other ones. While hugely informative, the hilarious banter and triple down self referential gags provide a reprieve when listening to a story of the travelling hand basket we are all in. The only downside is waiting for the next episodes - though, there are always their other podcasts you can tap into while your waiting. Aside from Rays consistent info backfires and Cam's endearing habit of laughing at his own gags before the crack - the cross referencing between podcasts is fantastic - esp. the COLDWAR podcast they work on. Thanks for making the commute everyday a hilarious pleasure lads!

It takes over 2000 years of development to make something this good!

Starting in the 4th Century BC, with Philip, then Alexander of Macedon, and continuing with Caesars’ Julius & Augustus, over 2000 years of serious development has got into this podcast. Ray and Cam rip up the airwaves with their own particular brand of irreverent humour and piss funny jokes. Serious content delivered in defiantly DILLIGAF style makes for a rollicking good tale of general misbehaviour, malfeasance and hedonistic debauchery we have all come to know and love form this pair. Serious connessours will be glad to know that the dick jokes remain, and early indications are that they will play an ever increasing role in the story.

I hear more is to come. Good news! Keep it up guys.
