SVG has won his first Xfinity Race. Jock Goodyer is the Aussie Speedway King. Scott Dixon is still winning in IndyCars and Toby Price and Paul Weel win the Baja 500... and some Supercars

Shane van Gisbergen won his first Xfinity Series race on the weekend in Portland, a week before Cam Waters and Will Brown join him as Cup Series drivers. The NASCAR racing was typically entertaining too.

Esteban Ocon has been fired, but will young Aussie Jack Doohan get the job next year?

Jack Miller lost his KTM factory ride for the 2025 season to Peda Acosta, but Miller remains confident of securing a competitive ride, likely with Tech3. Meanwhile, Francesco Bagnaia secured his third consecutive Italian Motorcycle Grand Prix victory, maintaining pressure on series leader Jorge Martin and Marc Marquez. Scott Dixon emerged victorious at the Detroit IndyCar street race, extending his series lead over Alex Palou. Toby Price, Paul Weel, and Brent Bauman claimed victory at the Baja 500, while various winners emerged at The Bend's secret Speed Series meeting.

Jock Goodyer received top honours at the 2024 Australian Speedway Awards, and Peugeot received a significant Balance of Performance adjustment for Hypercars at Le Mans, affecting various manufacturers.

And we start the loose stuff; again, we set about fixing Supercars and addressing the $20m loss.

Oh yeah, we take a quick peak at #F1 in Canada.

It was a huge weekend of Motorsport with the Indy 500, Monaco F1 and the Coca Cola 600 at Charlotte in NASCAR... we cut it all down for you.

It was a huge weekend of Motorsport with the Indy 500, Monaco F1 and the Coca Cola 600 at Charlotte in NASCAR... we cut it all down for you.

On this edition of the Auto Action Rev Limiter, we debrief a massive weekend of Motorsport; we certainly had some massive nights down under. Josef Newgarden won the Indy 500 with a last-lap pass, Christopher Bell won the big NASCAR race, and Charles Le Clerc won a typical Monaco Grand Prix... it may have the glamour, but it doesn't race well.

Andrew, Bruce and PG talk about all that and more... like Aussie's winning in F4 and GT3 races and standing on the podium in F2. And then there's the RACE - the owners of Supercars - reporting better financials than the year before.

It is all there in this edition of The Auto Action Rev Limiter.

Supercars from Perth, Formula 1 from Imola and Scotty Mac the fast driver ever at the Indy 500

It was a big motorsport weekend, that's for sure. Ford broke its duck with a pair of wins in Perth, one each for Chaz Mostert and Cam Waters, and we do a deep dive into what happened.

Max Verstappen had another win, but he is now actually having to work for them as the McLarens close in.

Then there was qualifying for the Indy 500 and a Penske lockout of the front row, with Scotty Mac the fastest driver ever at the biggest sporting venue in the world. Will Power is second and Joesf Newgarden is next.

All that and more on the Auto Action Rev Limiter.

Oscar starred... but Lando won. McLaren flogs the Clog.

The Miami F1 Grand Prix finally turned it on, and for the first time this year Max Verstappen was beaten on the track. McLaren launched the attack, first with Oscar Piastri and then by Lando Norris who had a bit more luck with the Safety Cars. He pulled away for a maiden win.

We have plenty of F1 talk and a little bit of Supercars, F4 and New Zealand.
