The Minimalists Podcast

I just listened to 346 Starving Artists by the Minimalists with Jeff Goins; not only super entertaining and interesting but truly a valuable resource for those who are trying to break into a more productive creative life. I’ve been a fan of the minimalist for a while, right back when they started (I think) and all the posts were from live shows so it’s great to hear they are heading back to more live work with the Sunday Symposium (with the awesome TK Coleman no less!!)
I love the energy that is created in their podcasts between the two of them (Joshua and Ryan) and with their guests… and I love it when they really let their guests have a bit of free rein, which is the case in this episode. It’s a gem!

The podcast that helped me most in the past 1 yr

I first discovered the Minimalists some years ago but only in the past year and a half did I start listening actively to the episodes. The podcast is calming to listen to and their message has resonated with me during a time of significant uncertainty. Facing the project of needing to clean out my parents’ home and move internationally, I found that the message of this podcast helped me reframe the major changes I was facing, I felt empowered to let go and move forward.
Highly recommend!

Fantastic ideas

I think Josh and Ryan are very down to earth guys with mindful, actionable advice. I still preferred the format in the early days of the podcast compared to the format now. I guess there’s only so many topics to cover without starting to sound repetitive. Plus, I get the need to make a living without doing ads (which is fantastic), but for all of us who can’t afford patreon, the minimal episodes feel almost like a tease - if you want to real meat, you have to subscribe. Totally understandable, I still think you and your team is doing a fabulous job and spreading the word about minimalism at a time when the world needs it desperately. I personally changed so many aspects of my life since I started following you 5 years ago so all I can say is a big THANK YOU!
