Why I Talk About My Abortion | Sadie Robertson Huff | Al & Lisa Robertson

Why I Talk About My Abortion | Sadie Robertson Huff | Al & Lisa Robertson

Sadie's aunt and uncle Lisa & Alan Robertson (host of the “Unashamed with the Robertson Family" podcast) get very honest about their past wrongs, what drew them to Christ and to each other, and why they will never stop sharing their stories to encourage others to find redemption and forgiveness in Jesus. Lisa talks about the abortion she had when she was 16 years old and how she's turned her grief and regret into ministry with women who have had similar experiences. Al shares his prodigal son story and Sadie marvels at the power of confession and realizing you're not the only one — there's freedom in acknowledging past wrongs! You won't want to miss a minute of this family conversation.

The Warning Signs of an Unhealthy Relationship | Sadie Robertson Huff & Freddie Amos

How can you spot the warning signs that your relationship isn't healthy? Sadie and LO counselor Freddie Amos sit down to answer some of your questions and talk about red flag behaviors, gaslighting, how to get OUT of a bad relationship, reasons NOT to stay in a bad relationship, whether you should you get back together after breaking up, and is it an ICK or do you just not like him? As Sadie says, let them be the first light to shine on some of the hidden things in your life and then go find sisters and friends to help walk beside you and pray for you in whatever situation you're in.

Stop Being SO Hard on Yourself & Put an End to Your Shame Spiral | Sadie & Christian

Stop Being SO Hard on Yourself & Put an End to Your Shame Spiral | Sadie & Christian

Christian is ecstatic to be recording with Sadie in her new studio, but before they dig into the DMs, they give us a little life update on Sadie's big bet and why Christian is skeptical, why the Huff fam is going (almost) screen-free this summer, and their new favorite way to end the day: playing rounds of "Angry Birds!" Then they get into some questions from the audience including how to battle shame from past mistakes, how to stop being so hard on yourself, biggest parenting wins and challenges, and being quick to listen and SLOW to respond.

My 'Black Panther' Audition and How God Showed Up | Sadie Robertson Huff & Letitia Wright

My 'Black Panther' Audition and How God Showed Up | Sadie Robertson Huff & Letitia Wright

Sadie is so pumped to get the full story of Letitia Wright, star of Marvel’s “Black Panther” franchise and executive producer of the faith-based movie “The Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot.” Letitia shares the details of her early life in rural Guyana, before moving to London and discovering at a young age her talent and passion for acting. Sadie is awed by Letitia’s story of faith in God and His leadership of her life, as well as the uncommonly personal nature of her relationship with Him. Letitia cites her motivation to not only act, but produce films with meaning and heart as the driving force behind founding her own production company. You Can Free Yourself from the Weight of Others' Expectations | Sadie Robertson Huff & Demi Tebow

You Can Free Yourself from the Weight of Others' Expectations | Sadie Robertson Huff & Demi Tebow

Demi Tebow is a speaker and author who was crowned Miss Universe in 2017, she just celebrated 4 years of marriage to Tim Tebow, and today she joins Sadie for a very special conversation about where we can find our true identity and the origin of our confidence — and how to overcome the careless words that have broken us in the past. Demi opens up about a time in her life where her faith was rattled and why she decided that rather than asking, "Why God?" she's learned to ask, "Where can I find God's purpose in what I'm going through?" Sadie shares about an unexpected emotional moment she had in the music studio when she was recording her first song, recalling when she felt absolutely broken — and what helped her feel strong again. Pre-order your copy of Demi's first book "A Crown That Lasts:" https://demitebow.com/

BIG LOVE! ❤️

Love this podcast series!!!!! Keep it up

eh…

I’m glad others are encouraged by this. More power to them. But personally, I find this podcast just reiterates everything I was told about straight, cisheterosexual relationships while growing up in a conservative evangelical church …with a side of “Jesus thinks ur pretty so don’t worry what the wOrLd says”.

‘Meaningful conversations’ is a s t r e t c h. Very few meaningful questions are actually ever asked that might take the hosts beyond the evangelical thought bubble. ‘Shallow reiterations of every Christian cliche about mental health’ is more like it.
