July 2nd is a major Feast Day in the Orthodox Christian Community. It is a major feast day where we celebrate the repose of Saint John of Shanghai and San Francisco, 55 years ago today July 2nd 2021, Saint John of Shanghai and San Francisco surrendered his soul to the Lord. On the 55th year, anniversary of his repose, Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan traveled to our Mission Church in Lewisburg and with him he brought the Kursk Root Icon. How blessed we all were to have been able to attend services lead by Bishop Nicholas on this major feast day and of Manhattan and Father George of Lewisburg. Glory to God for all Things!
