    GeoLearning's Manager of Client Learning Services, Dr. Matthew Casey, discusses his recommendations for organizations preparing virtual instructor-led training (VILT) content and curricula in the podcast "Your Successful Virtual Classroom: Best Practices for VILT." Casey cautions that VILT requires more interactivity (once every five minutes, he suggests) to work correctly than a typical instructor-led course. Repurposing an ILT PowerPoint as a VILT course doesn't allow the instructor to know if learners are following along and understanding the information, without being able to see their non-verbal feedback. Interactivity engages the audience and lets the instructor ask poll questions to find out if learners are on track.
