Feathers, Bricks, and Trucks - A Not So Subtle Guide to Preventing Burnout

Feathers, Bricks, and Trucks - A Not So Subtle Guide to Preventing Burnout

Feathers might seem harmless—lightweight, small, and easy to deal with. But most of the time, these small things are the root of bigger problems that you will face in your business, and because you didn’t pay attention to these delicate feathers, the next thing you know, you get smashed by a brick.

And you thought, “Oh, it happens to everybody. Getting smashed by bricks is okay,” but it’s not. It’s the way of the universe to turn a yellow signal to you and start slowing down. But you dread these bricks and accept all the possible pains it gives you: emotionally, mentally, and physically.

Until you get hit by a truck! That’s the only time you will stop because, let’s face it, you can’t do anything but stop at this point: chronic fatigue, bedridden, burnout. See, you can avoid this by getting aware of the feathers in the first place.

For the first episode of the Tradie Business School Podcast for the year 2023, Adam Spencer and Lousie Ledbrook will share their feathers, bricks, and trucks and how they can help you avoid them in the future.
