All Our Neighbors Michael Tetrault

- Society & Culture
We are stronger together. As we listen to the stories of our neighbors, we learn to love and develop our sense of community. We must always push to empathize and be present with those who have different experiences than ours.

2 - Christina
Christina is a hard-working lifelong learner who achieved home ownership in partnership with Habitat for Humanity around 2005. Growing up, her family had its share of unforeseen difficulties along with other hardships brought on by incarceration and substance abuse. But through the kindness of her adoptive parents, an unflappable work ethic, and a commitment to provide for her children, Christina was able to overcome many obstacles along the way.
If you would like to partner with Habitat for Humanity, you can volunteer in a number of ways. You can view opportunities in the Lafayette, Indiana area by visiting lafayettehabitat.org, or you can find your local Habitat for Humanity organization at habitat.org.
If you would like to volunteer as a court-appointed special advocate (CASA) to work on behalf of children in need of help, you can look up your local organization at nationalcasagal.org. -
