    Ana Rosa, MD, PhD is a physician, Radiologist, Body fellowship, trained, alumni of the University of Minnesota, medical doctor at the VA healthcare system, and assistant professor at the University of Minnesota.

    Dr. Rosa has done two radiology residencies, one in Brazil, and one in the United States, obtained a doctorate degree, had done a body imaging fellowship, and also has published in medical journals and helped writing Imaging books in Brazil with 25 years of practice in the Imaging field as a Radiologist.

    Dr. Rosa shares with us her imaging knowledge of visceral fat, the importance of its detection and description in the reports, guiding the patients and the ordering providers by the findings on cross-section imaging such as MRI scans.

    Dr. Rosa’s intention is to bring awareness on how to detect a simple easy biomarker such as visceral fat on MRI scans making it easier for patients to advocate for health and follow up for results.

    Dr. Rosa shares with us how to create quality of care in service for education and interaction between patients, providers and Radiologists in sharing her own story on how to heal from inside out by literally “seeing ” a “silent” metabolic active killer that visceral fat represents and taking action to change the presence status quo And move towards optimizing health.

In addition, he is a consultant and member of the Board of Directors for CXLO, Inc., a developer of an innovative treatment for keratoconus and other corneal ectasias, as well as a consultant and medical monitor for Johnson & Johnson’s refractive products. Previously, he played pivotal roles in the development and commercialization of the Excimer and Femto lasers as Medical Director at Visx. Dr. Odrich is a graduate of Columbia College and received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Yale’s Danbury Hospital before moving to pursue his residency at Columbia’s Harkness Eye Institute. Odrich then completed a two-year fellowship focused on cornea and external disease at Harvard’s Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.

    Dr. Dallam is a distinguished professor in the School of Health Science and Human Movement at Colorado State University – Pueblo. He has taught a wide variety of classes in exercise physiology, research and statistics, behavior facilitation, sport psychology, kinesiology, biomechanics, management, exercise assessment and prescription, swimming, running and triathlon. He is the past long standing chair of the CSUP Faculty Compensation Committee and the CSUP Institutional Review Board.

    Dr. Dallam has received both the United States Olympic Committee’s Doc Counsilman Science in Coaching award (2004) and the National Elite Coach of the Year award (2005) for triathlon. He has also received all three of CSU-Pueblo’s university-wide awards for teaching (2001), scholarship (2003 and 2021) and service (2005). He has further twice received the outstanding faculty member award (2005 and 2013) in the College of Engineering, Education and Professional Studies at CSU-Pueblo and the inaugural Scholarship Award (2021) n the newly formed School of Health Science and Human Movement.

    Finally, Dr. Dallam has been continuously training and competing in triathlon since 1981 and has recently also begun playing water polo again as a masters athlete.
