襲明章第二十七
善行無轍跡，善言無瑕 謫，善數不用籌策，善閉無關楗而不可開，善結無繩約而不可解。是以聖人常善救人，故無棄人；常善救物，故無棄物。是謂襲明。故善人者，不善人之師；不善人者，善人之資。不貴其師，不愛其資，雖智大迷，是謂要妙。
第 二 十 七 章
善 行 无 辙 迹 ， 善 言 无 瑕 谪 ﹔
善 数 不 用 筹 策 ﹔ 善 闭 无 关 楗 而 不 可 开 ，
善 结 无 绳 约 而 不 可 解 。
是 以 圣 人 常 善 救 人 ， 故 无 弃 人 ﹔
常 善 救 物 ， 故 无 弃 物 。
是 谓 袭 明 。
故 善 人 者 ， 不 善 人 之 师 ﹔
不 善 人 者 ， 善 人 之 资 。
不 贵 其 师 ， 不 爱 其 资 ，
虽 智 大 迷 ， 是 谓 要 妙 。
Dì èrshíqī zhāng
shànxíng wú zhé jī, shàn yán wúxiá zhé﹔ shàn shǔ bùyòng chóu cè﹔ shàn bì wúguān jiàn ér bùkě kāi, shàn jié wúshéng yuē ér bùkějiě. Shì yǐ shèngrén chángshàn jiù rén, gù wú qì rén﹔ chángshàn jiù wù, gù wú qì wù. Shì wèi xí míng. Gù shànrén zhě, bùshànrén zhī shī﹔ bùshàn rén zhě, shàn rén zhī zī. Bù guì qí shī, bù ài qí zī, suī zhì dà mí, shì wèi yào miào.

27. Perfection
The perfect traveller leaves no trail to be followed;
The perfect speaker leaves no question to be answered;
The perfect accountant leaves no working to be completed;
The perfect container leaves no lock to be closed;
The perfect knot leaves no end to be ravelled.
So the sage nurtures all men
And abandons no one.
He accepts everything
And rejects nothing.
He attends to the smallest details.
So the strong must guide the weak,
For the weak are raw material to the strong.
If the guide is not respected,
Or the material is not cared for,
Confusion will result, no matter how clever one is.
This is the secret of perfection:
When raw wood is carved, it becomes a tool;
When a man is employed, he becomes a tool;
The perfect carpenter leaves no wood to be carved.
善于行走的不留踪迹，善于言辞的没有暇疵，善于计算的不用器具。善于关门的不用门插，却无人能开；善于捆绑的不用绳索，却无人能解。
圣人就是这样一直善于拯救世人，无人被弃之不顾；一直善于挽救万物，无物被弃之不顾。这就叫承袭、传递光明。
所以说，善人是不善之人的老师，不善之人亦是善人的资财。如果不敬重老师，或者不爱惜其资财，那么，再有智慧也是大大地迷失了。这是一个至关重要的奥妙啊！
善於行走的不留蹤跡，善於言辭的沒有暇疵，善於計算的不用器具。善於關門的不用門插，卻無人能開；善於捆綁的不用繩索，卻無人能解。
聖人就是這樣一直善於拯救世人，無人被棄之不顧；一直善於挽救萬物，無物被棄之不顧。這就叫承襲、傳遞光明。
