善建者不拔，善抱者不脫，子孫以祭祀不 輟。修之於身，其德乃真；修之於家，其德乃餘；修之於鄉，其德乃長；修之於邦其德乃豐；修之於天下，其德乃普。故以身觀身，以家觀家，以鄉觀鄉，以邦觀邦，以天下觀天下。吾何以知天下然哉？以此。
第 五 十 四 章
善 建 者 不 拔 ，善 抱 者 不 脱 ， 子 孙 以 祭 祀 不 辍 。
修 之 于 身 ， 其 德 乃 真 ﹔
修 之 于 家 ， 其 德 乃 余 ﹔修 之 于 乡 ， 其 德 乃 长 ﹔
修 之 于 邦 ， 其 德 乃 丰 ﹔修 之 于 天 下 ， 其 德 乃 普 。
故 以 身 观 身 ，以 家 观 家 ， 以 乡 观 乡 ，
以 邦 观 邦 ， 以 天 下 观 天 下 。
吾 何 以 知 天 下 然 哉 。 以 此 。
Dì wǔshísì zhāng
shàn jiàn zhě bù bá, shàn bào zhě bù tuō, zǐsūn yǐ jìsì bù chuò. Xiūzhī yú shēn, qí dé nǎi zhēn﹔ xiūzhī yú jiā, qí dé nǎi yú﹔xiūzhī yú xiāng, qí dé nǎi zhǎng﹔ xiūzhī yú bāng, qí dé nǎi fēng﹔xiūzhī yú tiānxià, qí dé nǎi pǔ. Gù yǐ shēn guān shēn, yǐ jiā guān jiā, yǐ xiāng guān xiāng, yǐ bāng guān bāng, yǐ tiānxià guān tiānxià. Wú héyǐ zhī tiānxià rán zāi. Yǐ cǐ.

54. Cultivate Harmony
Cultivate harmony within yourself, and harmony becomes real;
Cultivate harmony within your family, and harmony becomes fertile;
Cultivate harmony within your community, and harmony becomes abundant;
Cultivate harmony within your culture, and harmony becomes enduring;
Cultivate harmony within the world, and harmony becomes ubiquitous.
Live with a person to understand that person;
Live with a family to understand that family;
Live with a community to understand that community;
Live with a culture to understand that culture;
Live with the world to understand the world.
How can I live with the world?
By accepting.
完善的建造者，其建造的不能拔除。完善的保守者，其保守的不会失落。应当祭祀敬拜这完善者，子子孙孙永不停息。
一个人若这样，他身上的恩德必真实无伪。一家若这样，这一家的恩德必充实有余。一乡 若这样，这一乡的恩德必深远流长。一国若这样，这一国的恩德必丰满兴隆。若以此教化 天下，其恩德必普行于天下。
所以，将上面的道理用于一身，则知一身；用于一家，则知一家；用于一乡，则知一乡； 用于一国，则知一国；用于天下，则知天下。我从何知晓天下之事呢？就是从这里。
