IT ALL INTERSECTS is a podcast that explores the differences between South Africa and America's racially segregated pasts. As well as how these countries dealt with and continue to deal with these pasts and what they could learn from each other in this regard.
The podcast will feature various conversations and stories that will delve into this topic (and others) and tackle (and ask) difficult questions about our pasts and our futures. It will also be a space to discover how, to a certain extent, everything intersects. Or does it?

The Thing About Democracy
‘The Thing About Democracy’, is the first episode of IT ALL INTERSECTS.
On the sidelines of the Summit for Democracy 2023, we spoke to Laura Thornton of the German Marshall Fund and Katie La Roque of Freedom House.
There are serious human security concerns and humanitarian issues faced by people in democratic countries around the world. These concerns beg the question: is democracy really the best form of government?
In search of answers to that question, we discussed the current state of democracy and the implications it has for democratic countries - like South Africa and the United States.
