Freeing 144,000 Souls from the Lower Zone - Spiritism with Brian Foster

A group of high spirits – sent from the tenth level of heaven – journeyed down to the Lower Zone. They were sent on orders from above to free souls who have been trapped in a wretched life of materialism and base emotions, and were ready to peer upwards to the light for inspiration. At the end of their mission, the high spirits had amassed 144,000 people from the lower regions of the spirit realm and led them to a new city.

And Life goes On Chapter 6
This book is a spirit’s description of the individual after discarnating and it shows that the lives of the inhabitants of the Beyond are related to their mental state. In a novel with 26 chapters, it tells the story of real characters, who, upon discarnating, receive the help of spirit friends. These friends encourage them to renew themselves through study and work in order to prepare them to review their lives and understand schemes of the past, thereby enabling them to follow new directives of behavior. This volume teaches us the practice of self-examination in the certainty that, in conformity with the laws of God, life continues full of hope and labor, progress and accomplishment after death.

Kardec radio is my favorite Radio Blog
I live in NYC and am constantly surrounded by the difficulties of living in a big city. The emphasis on succeeding in work and stimulating the self in terms of acquiring things leaves little to no attention to spirituality and embodying inner peace. I started listening to this program early morning when commuting to work on crowded subways and my attitude towards life has changed. It helps me focus on the real challenges that I have in life (self) and it gives me tools to find happiness to keep growing and evolving in a society where love and compassion is difficult to find.
Thanks Kardec Radio for making me a better person!
For someone who never heard the radio I recommend the US Spiritist Sixth Symposium program in May. Is by far my favorite one for now.
