The Fountains of Carrots Podcast

I absolutely love this podcast—it’s a treat every time a new episode is released! The topics and guests are always interesting, but what I love most is the authenticity, humility, and zest that Haley and Christy model for me. They are a gift to Catholic women. ❤️

On paper, this is just the sort of podcast I should like: Catholic moms talking books and spirituality. In practice, it fails to live up to its promise. The lack of any editing is a serious drawback. Discussions often ramble well wide of the topic at hand, to the point that I find my mind wandering for 15 minutes at a time, waiting for the hosts to pick up the thread again. Also, the sheer amount of vocal fry employed in these episodes rapidly grates on the ears and the patience. Finally unsubscribing.

This is such a fun podcast, tackling so many topics! I will say that the last couple of episodes I’ve needed to stop and step away because the interrupting and talking over each other seems to have really ramped up and though that’s exactly how conversations are in real life, it’s hard to listen to that on a podcast. Otherwise I love love LOVE this podcast and the hosts are so fun. The topics are fantastic and it’s always a joy to be able to hear the in depth conversations that take place.

Coming into the Catholic Church can be daunting, but Haley and Christi do a great job of presenting catholic culture in a way that is inviting and fun! I find this podcast especially great for moms and bookworms. Thank you for your ministry!
