In this episode, Connor chats to Dots+Loops 2022 Composition Fellow Jen Hankin (she/her) aka The Emerald Ruby ahead of the premiere of her newly commissioned piece "H4lt The Hustle, Frolic 4va" at Dots+Loops NONSTOP 2022. We discussed the surprising and hilarious limitations of making music with Nintendo Gameboys, her genre-hopping fascinations, and her many MANY bands including the one she describes as "Evanescence but better".

In the second half, Connor chats with Brisbane artistic duo Timothy Tate and Zenobia Frost, exploring the weird world of indie video game Kentucky Route Zero, the trials and tribulations of working with obsolete technologies, and their new immersive installation "Static Mediations".
