En-bloc party! RCT of TURBT with Jeremy Teoh
Should we remove bladder cancers piece-meal by chopping them into little pieces, or should we try and remove en bloc with a margin around the base?? This very nice randomised controlled trial from our friends in Hong Kong demonstrates that the recurrence rate is significantly lower if we use the all-too-rarely used en bloc technique.
