Pursuing a career in acting is no easy feat. There's not a whole lot of financial stability, you're traveling constantly, and if you find success it can easily warp you pretty quickly. So how do you pursue a fruitful career in acting and be a normal functioning human that can raise a family? Say you want to get married, have kids, keep a garden that doesn't find a swift demise. How do you do that?!
Today we talk to Damon Carney, an actor that you've seen fight (and lose his head to) freaking Wolverine in Logan, be a Texas Ranger in Gore Verbenski's The Lone Ranger, and has starred in countless other roles over the past two decades. He's a happily married man with kids, and even runs his own deli in his home town of Arlington, Texas. Needless to say, Damon has been making it work and living his best life for quite a while. In today's episode, he shares his life experiences and tells a few awesome on-set stories while he's at it.
