Emma Batty Sukerta is the leader of Bye Bye Plastic Bags Jakarta (BBPBJ). Bye Bye Plastic Bags is a Non-Governmental Organization driven by youth to say NO to plastic bags. Bye Bye Plastic Bags Jakarta (BBPBJ) is a branch of Bye Bye Plastic Bags that operates in the Jakarta area. Bye Bye Plastic Bags Jakarta is an NGO driven by the youth of Jakarta to say NO to single-use plastics in Jakarta.
Emma is also known as an environmental activist based in Jakarta. Emma is the Co-Founder of Mari Kita Bahas, a member of Project Buzz IDN, and also a member of Jaga Rimba only by the age of 17. She continues to promote positive societal and environmental changes to Indonesia.
